Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
VPNBaron ("VPNBaron", "we", "us", or "our") provides a virtual private network (VPN) service. Your privacy is central to that service, and this Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at vpnbaron.com, our apps, and the VPN service itself.
By using VPNBaron, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Our no-logs commitment
We operate the VPN on a no-activity-logs basis. We do not monitor, record, store, or share:
- The websites you visit, the content you access, or your DNS queries while connected.
- Your originating IP address tied to your browsing activity.
- The contents, destinations, or metadata of your network traffic.
- Bandwidth usage attributed to an individual session in a way that reveals what you did.
Because we do not keep these records, we cannot produce them — to you, to a third party, or in response to a legal request.
2. Information we do collect
To run the service, bill it, and support you, we collect a limited set of data:
- Account information. The email address you register with, and an encrypted (hashed) password. You may optionally provide a display name.
- Subscription and billing status. Which plan you are on, whether it is active, trialing, or expired, and renewal dates. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors — we never see or store your full card number.
- Transaction records. A ledger of charges, refunds, and redemptions for accounting and tax purposes, tagged with a processor reference (not your card data).
- Minimal operational data. Aggregate, non-identifying metrics needed to keep the network healthy (for example, total server load) and basic security information such as the count of recent failed login attempts.
- Support correspondence. Messages you send us and any attachments, so we can respond and improve the service.
3. Payments
We use trusted third-party processors to handle payments. Depending on how you subscribe, this may include:
- Stripe — for card payments made through our website.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — for subscriptions purchased inside our mobile apps, including any free trials. These purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's own terms and privacy policies, and they manage your payment method.
These processors receive the information necessary to complete your transaction. We receive confirmation of payment and a subscription status, not your underlying payment credentials.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. We also use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics) on our marketing pages to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site. Analytics are not run inside the authenticated account area in a way that ties browsing to your VPN activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
5. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and provide the VPN service.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions and trials, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To send service-related communications (for example, billing notices, security alerts, or important changes).
- To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of our network.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (payment processors, email delivery, hosting, and analytics) under contractual obligations to protect it.
- Legal authorities, only where we are legally compelled to do so. Where a request would require activity data we do not keep, we have nothing to hand over.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. Data retention
We keep account and billing records only for as long as your account is active and for the period afterward required to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see "Your rights").
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. These rights are available to data subjects under regulations such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
10. International transfers
VPNBaron operates globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect it consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
11. Children's privacy
VPNBaron is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
13. Contact us
