VPNBaron for Android

The native Android app is the easiest way to use VPNBaron on your phone or tablet: install, sign in, one tap to connect.

Installation Guide

1. Get VPNBaron from Google Play

   Search for “VPNBaron” on Google Play, or use the direct link:

2. Launch and Sign In

   Open the app and sign in: email and password, or continue with Google or Apple.

   No account yet?

   You can create one during sign-in, or at vpnbaron.com. One account covers up to 5 devices.

3. Connect

   Tap Connect. The first time, Android asks for permission to set up a VPN connection; tap OK.

   

4. Pick a location (optional)

   Open the Servers tab to choose a specific country, or mark favourites for one-tap access later.

   

Baron Pathfinder picks the protocol

You never have to choose a protocol. Baron Pathfinder tests VPNBaron’s protocols (VLESS Reality, Hysteria2, IKEv2) on your current network and connects through the one that works best. On hotel, campus or mobile networks that block ordinary VPNs, it falls back automatically to the stealth protocols, whose traffic looks like regular HTTPS.

Seamless network switching

Moving between Wi-Fi and mobile data? The tunnel re-establishes automatically, so the drop is invisible.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Won’t connect on this network?

• Disconnect and reconnect: Pathfinder will try a different protocol route.
• On hotel or airport Wi-Fi, open a browser page and accept the network’s login page first, then connect.

Battery optimisation kills the connection?

• In Android settings, exclude VPNBaron from battery optimisation so the tunnel isn’t stopped in the background.

Slow speeds?

• Try a server closer to your location, or reconnect for a fresh route.
